I’ve been painting since I was 3. I paint to connect with myself and my community. I see my art as a way to create joy and hope in my own world, and hopefully in others as well. When visiting my studio, or a show, you‘ll view vibrant nature-inspired art on recycled fence boards, wood, and traditional canvas! I love to express my appreciation for our natural world, with all of its wonderful shapes and hues.
In addition to fine art, I paint residential and commercial murals. I am artist in residence directing mural projects at Bay Area schools, including Pilarcitos Alternative High School (HMB). My “Art in the Park” class there collaborates with the Native Plant Nursery at Francis Beach, painting signage and murals to assist visitors to the nursery. My “Creating a Mural” class simultaneously creates murals to express current events, and beautifies our new campus.
I am a member of CoCA, (Colony of Coastside Artists), Half Moon Bay OddFellows and Precita Eyes Mural Center, and live in El Granada.
